A change ledger that lists what one release changed, one line per change with a New, Improved or Fixed chip. The left 34% holds an oversized version number, the ship date, a release summary and two headline figures; the right 66% stacks five changes on ruled rows as type chip, change name, the difference the user feels, and the product area. The version number is the largest type, so when and what changed reads first.

Best for: Customer-facing product update briefings, quarterly release reviews, customer success What's New sessions, introducing changes at a user community meetup
Use: Use it to tell customers or internal stakeholders, on one slide, what changed in this release. It fits customer What's New sessions, quarterly product reviews, customer success update briefings and community meetups. The version number and ship date stand largest so the timing reads first, the five changes split into New, Improved and Fixed chips so new capability is told apart from improvements, and every row states the before and after a user will notice rather than describing the feature, so no one has to ask what is actually different for them.
Avoid: Use feature-pillars or feature-benefit-ledger to introduce what the product could already do, feature-spec-sheet to list specifications, and timeline-roadmap or timeline-phase-columns to show what is planned next. With only one or two changes feature-single-deep-dive works better. It does not fit releases with more than six changes, or internal commit lists where no user-facing effect can be written down.
