A scope boundary slide that stands what the talk or project will cover beside what it will not. A line at the top states the rule the boundary was drawn on; the left half takes the included items behind a thick accent rule with check markers, and the right half takes the excluded ones behind a hairline with neutral markers. Every excluded item carries a handoff chip naming where it is dealt with instead, so an exclusion reads as a decision rather than a failure.

Best for: Agreeing scope at kickoff, opening a workshop, heading off scope creep, stating what a proposal does and does not include
Use: When the boundary this talk or project owns has to be nailed down first. Use it to agree scope at kickoff, open a workshop, or state the in and out of a proposal. It fits when something has genuinely been excluded and "why aren't you covering that?" is certain to come up, so the slide closes the question before it is asked.
Avoid: Use outline-checklist-scope when there is no need to state exclusions and skimming the covered topics is enough, outline-agenda or outline-numbered-tiles when the ordering is the point, and outline-agenda-timeblock when the time split is. A side-by-side of products or competitors belongs in the comparison-side-by-side family. Past five included or four excluded items the item copy stops reading, so group them down.
