A third-party expert endorsement rather than a customer testimonial. A two-column body with a large quote and the speaker's byline on the left and an assessment-grade panel plus the credential that qualifies the speaker on the right, with a source footnote underneath. The quote is the largest type on the slide; the grade and the credential prop up its credibility from the side.

Best for: The third-party validation section of a fundraising deck, citing an analyst report, award and certification jury notes, building trust when customer stories do not exist yet or cannot be disclosed
Use: Use it when credibility has to rest on third-party authority instead of a customer's word. It fits analyst reports, award jury notes and certification assessments, where the speaker's standing is itself the evidence. It earns its place in the validation section of a fundraising deck and at the stage where customer stories are absent or locked under NDA. The credential line states years on the beat and any conflict of interest, the grade panel names how many were assessed, and the footnote carries the report name and publication date, so no one has to ask who said it, on what authority, after looking at how many.
Avoid: Use quote-testimonial for a customer speaking in their own words, quote-press-headlines to gather press headlines, quote-avatar-feature to lead with a portrait, quote-metric-spotlight to attach a performance figure to the quote, and quote-comparison-duo or quote-social-wall to place several voices side by side. It does not fit anonymous quotes whose speaker cannot be identified, plain praise with no grade or placement attached, or long jury notes running past three sentences.
