Quote - NPS Verbatim Segments.

A voice-of-customer slide that files verbatims by the score the customer gave. The overall NPS sits at the top as a large figure next to the response count, and the three columns below hold promoters (9-10), passives (7-8) and detractors (0-6), each with its own share bar and two representative verbatims. The promoter column is set in the accent color and the detractor column muted, so the typography itself shows that the quotes were not cherry-picked.

Overview

Best for: Voice-of-customer reporting in a quarterly CX review, explaining a move in NPS, diagnosing why customers churn, satisfaction slides that need praise and complaint on the same page to be believed

Use: When customer verbatims have to carry proof of representativeness: a sample size and an overall score alongside them. Use it for voice-of-customer reporting in a quarterly CX review, for explaining a move in NPS, or for diagnosing churn. Putting detractor verbatims on the same screen is the point of the layout, so it suits internal or investor reporting where candor buys trust.

Avoid: Use quote-large-statement or quote-editorial-split to set one quote large, quote-social-wall or quote-ticker-strip to lay out many unsorted testimonials, quote-comparison-duo to contrast a before and after, quote-metric-spotlight to pair one quote with a customer's results, quote-press-headlines for media coverage. If only the shares matter and no verbatims are needed, chart-donut-breakdown works; for a shift in composition over time use chart-mix-shift-columns. The three bands are fixed by the definition of NPS and cannot be split or merged, and verbatims longer than three lines force the one-per-segment variant.
