A launch countdown that anchors the time left to a single future date as one oversized D-day figure, then stands the readiness items beside it with their status (done / in progress / pending) and owner. An asymmetric two-column stack: the countdown anchor on the left third, the readiness checklist on the right two thirds, and a single launch-day action across the bottom. Unlike the other timelines, which draw a span of time, its axis is one point in time.

Best for: D-day briefings before a product launch, Go/No-Go reviews, the last check before a company-wide migration or cutover, readiness reports ahead of a campaign opening
Use: When one date is fixed and the time remaining has to be reported alongside the state of preparation on the same screen. Use it for the briefing right before a launch, a Go/No-Go review, the night-before check on a migration, or a campaign readiness update. It fits best when the items run in parallel with no ordering and each carries its own owner and status.
Avoid: Use timeline-roadmap or timeline-milestone for a schedule of several events over a span, timeline-vertical-steps for an ordered sequence, timeline-phase-columns for Now/Next/Later buckets, timeline-year-calendar to read a whole year's density. Use cta-countdown-urgency to push an audience to decide before a promotion closes, and closing-action-plan-checklist to hand off next steps as the deck ends. Past six readiness items the rows get too short for the status badges to read, so group them down to five or fewer.
