Best for: Showing a staged story dynamically, such as a product's evolution, company history, or customer journey map.

Use: When you want 5-6 milestones shown dynamically in an alternating left-right layout, e.g. product evolution, company history, customer journey maps.

Avoid: For a simple horizontal row, use timeline-roadmap. For sequential vertical steps, use timeline-vertical-steps. For two synchronized workstreams, use timeline-parallel-tracks.
