A callout teardown: one object is pulled apart along its assembly axis into five parts stacked vertically, and a leader line runs from each part to a numbered marker. Left 58 percent holds the subject wordmark and the exploded view, drawn with SVG primitives only; right 42 percent holds the matching numbered spec rows (marker, part name, spec, one line of reasoning), where only the key part is filled and its name enlarged. A bottom line summarizes the composition. Use it to open up a physical or assembled subject, not a screenshot.

Best for: Introducing the parts of a hardware product, explaining a package or kit, listing parts in an equipment spec sheet, setting up a bill-of-materials cost discussion
Use: When one physical or assembled subject has to be opened up, with a spec and a reason given per part. Use it for hardware contents, package and kit composition, parts listings in equipment spec sheets, and as the setup slide for a cost-structure discussion. It works when there are four or five parts (past six the leader lines cross), each part has a one-phrase spec, and one part clearly matters more than the rest.
Avoid: If the subject is a software screen, use visual-annotated-screenshot for the parts of one screen or visual-ui-flow-walkthrough for a path across several. If what is being decomposed is a cause rather than an object, use problem-root-cause; to split a metric top-down use diagram-metric-tree; to decompose a change in money use chart-waterfall-bridge. To list contents without a drawing use feature-spec-sheet or feature-benefit-ledger; for the layers of a technical stack use diagram-layered-stack. If the parts have names but no specs, the spec column sits empty and visual-icon-grid is the better fit.
